Umoja Soccer School provides a welcoming, structured soccer environment for players of all levels, from first-time players to committed athletes. Our programs focus on strong fundamentals, confidence, and long-term development, while keeping enjoyment of the game at the centre of everything we do.

We are currently midway through our Indoor 2025–26 season under the dome at Lamport Stadium, offering a warm, consistent training environment throughout the winter. New players are welcome to join at any time, with prorated pricing available as the season progresses.

Whether your child is discovering soccer for the first time or looking for a higher level of challenge, Umoja offers clear pathways to support their development.

Recreational Pathway

For players who want to learn, improve, and enjoy the game in a positive setting.

  • Little Stars (4–6 yrs)
    A fun, age-appropriate introduction to soccer. Sessions focus on coordination, basic movement, and confidence with the ball through simple games and guided activities.

  • Foundation Boys (7–14 yrs)
    Training in age-based groups with an emphasis on technical skills, teamwork, and understanding the game, all within a supportive and encouraging environment.

  • Foundation Girls (7–14 yrs)
    Girls train in dedicated groups on a separate field, building skills and confidence while developing a strong connection to the game.

  • Pick-Up House League
    Low-pressure weekend games designed for fun and play. Girls: Sat (girls) & Sun (boys) at 10:00am.

Competitive Pathway

For motivated players ready for increased commitment and intensity.

  • Competitive Teams
    High-intensity training with four sessions per week, plus weekly futsal games in the TFPL. Designed for players who want to challenge themselves, compete regularly, and accelerate their development.

  • Tryouts remain open for motivated players.

Clinics & Specialty Training

Optional add-on programs to support specific skills and athletic development.

  • Speed, Agility & Quickness Clinic
    Athletic development sessions focused on acceleration, balance, footwork, and coordination.

  • First Touch & Skills Clinic
    Technical training emphasizing ball control, first touch, and comfort in tight spaces through repetition and high ball contact.

  • Goalkeeper Training
    Position-specific sessions focusing on handling, footwork, reactions, distribution, and confidence in goal.

Indoor 2025–26 at Lamport Stadium

All our indoor programs run under the dome at Lamport Stadium until April 19, 2026.

Recreational training schedule (Little Stars & Foundation):

  • Weekdays: Monday to Thursday, 5–6pm or 6-7pm

  • Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 9–10am or 10-11am

Families can choose:

  • Nov–Dec,

  • Jan–Apr, or

  • the full indoor season.

Prorated pricing is available for families joining partway through the season, with fees adjusting automatically as weeks go by.

Outdoor Season & Looking Ahead to Summer

Outdoor Recreational Programs are now open for registration and will continue the same player-focused approach in an outdoor setting this spring and summer.

We are also preparing a new summer camp program for 2026, hosted on turf fields with new locations in the Roncesvalles area. Camps will be clearly structured with dedicated weeks for:

• Younger recreational players

• Older players and advanced / high-performance groups

Competitive Outdoor Program (2026)

Umoja Soccer School has applied for its Ontario Soccer competitive license. Ontario Soccer has indicated that its internal reorganization will be completed by October 2025, after which our application will be prioritized. Once validated, Umoja teams will be eligible to participate in the provincial outdoor competitive league starting in 2026.
