Umoja Soccer School offers a dynamic, inclusive soccer environment for players of all levels. From first-timers to competitive athletes, our programs are built to develop strong fundamentals, build confidence, and nurture a real love for the game.

We’ve just kicked off our 2025–26 Indoor Season under the dome at Lamport Stadium, with a comfortable, warm temperature all winter and a refreshed coaching team and training curriculum. We want every child to have fun, feel supported, and grow every time they step on the field.

Recreational Pathway

For players who want to learn, improve, and have fun.

  • Little Stars (4–6 yrs)
    Fun, beginner-friendly introduction to soccer with strong coaching support and simple games to build coordination, confidence, and comfort with the ball.

  • Foundation Boys (7–14 yrs)
    Boys train in age-appropriate groups with a focus on fundamentals, technique, teamwork, and game understanding in a supportive environment.

  • Foundation Girls (7–14 yrs)
    Girls train in their own groups on a separate field, building skills, confidence, and a strong love for the game in a positive, encouraging setting.

  • Pick-Up House League (Girls & Boys)
    Easy, low-pressure weekend games at a great price.
    Girls play Saturdays at 10am, boys on Sundays at 10am.

Competitive Pathway

For motivated players ready for a higher commitment.

  • Competitive Teams
    Higher-intensity training for committed players, with four team practices per week and one futsal game every Sunday in the TFPL.
    Ideal for athletes who want to challenge themselves, compete regularly, and accelerate their development.
    Tryouts are still open for motivated players.

Clinics & Specialty Training

Add-ons to support specific skills and athletic development.

  • Speed, Agility & Quickness Clinic
    Focused athletic training to improve acceleration, footwork, balance, and overall speed on the field.

  • First Touch & Skills Clinic
    Technical sessions to sharpen first touch, ball control, and comfort in tight spaces, with lots of repetition and ball contacts.

  • Goalkeeper Training
    Position-specific training for young keepers, focusing on technique, handling, footwork, reactions, and confidence in goal.

Indoor 2025–26 at Lamport Stadium

All our indoor programs run under the dome at Lamport Stadium until April 19, 2026.

Recreational training schedule (Little Stars & Foundation):

  • Weekdays: Monday to Thursday, 5–6pm

  • Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 9–10am

Families can choose:

  • Nov–Dec,

  • Jan–Apr, or

  • the full indoor season.

We also offer pro-rated pricing each month for families joining mid-program, so you can still sign up partway through the season.

Competitive Program – Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor (Winter) – 2025–26

  • Training at Lamport Stadium, Monday–Thursday, plus futsal games on Sundays

  • Participation in futsal leagues to develop quick decision-making, first touch, and ball control

  • Strong focus on technical development, game intelligence, and team cohesion

Outdoor (2026 – Provincial Season)
Umoja Soccer has applied for its Ontario Soccer competitive license. Ontario Soccer has indicated that their internal reorganization will be completed by October 2025, after which our application will be prioritized and validated.
With licensing in place, Umoja teams will be able to enter the provincial outdoor competitive league starting in 2026.
